Does this look like it would work? I find the VvV Baroness headsculpt to be... Quite superior.

good idea, I agree, that is a better head sculpt. looks like the neck is too long though, maybe dremel the head to fit further down, if theres room left in the head or cut and reglue the neck ball in a lower position

Can you describe the process you went through to do this? I have had the same idea about making a 25th style Bombstrike. I haven't found another head out there that I like as much as her original VvV head, so I thought I'd try to dremel it out and stick it on a Lady Jaye body.

It's actually kind of simple when you think about it.
I actualy cut as close as I dared with an Xacto, then notched a little pock with a knife. My Dremel set has this one head that's a tiny little irregularly-shaped ball. And I used the Dremel on a low setting, steadily increasing as I went. And just dug as deep as I dared, checking every couple of millimeters to see if the balljoint fit in yet.

It works. The head is a bit small, but not too noticeable. The neck is still a little too long. Good idea.

the neck might still be a little long, but it would be hard to take it down much further without having to cut into the uniform sculpt i think.
you're right, though, that head looks way better than the one it came with. Nice work. |
