I got the inspiration to do this, when I saw MrClean use a Helix figure as a basis for an updated Jinx. I've seen so many people use that head for Jinx, I wouldn't know who to credit for it. Despite not liking the fig, not caring about the character, and feeling that ninjas are played out, I still wanted to make my own.
I mostly just used insignia red, with a little Rock Island maroon. The backpack is off of pilot Scarlett. (which unlike ROC backpacks will actually stay plugged into the figure) The scabbard is thin black sheet styrene, and red vinyl tape. The rings that hold all the straps are made out of black craft wire. The draw string for her mask is just black thread. I left it long, because I liked the look. The sash is black vinyl tape. That was fun to tie.... I'm still trying to get a feel for this new camera. |

Love it. Nice work. We'd be lucky if Hasbro would give us such a fine Jinx.

Excellent work.
I've been seeing Helix's head used for a lot of customs lately. Makes me wonder if she's as uncommon as peple have been saying.
