I did, by mistake, after pulling the treads off MOSTLY but not completely. But I asked for tips here, and got some great advice on how to strip the paint. It's not completely finished yet, but I got enough off that I can hold it without getting paint on myself, and the bottom of the treads doesn't feel tacky anymore. Still frustrated that I lazily refused to take the treads off completely. Ah well. Next time, when I do an IG Bradley.... Law |
