I love Grid-Iron. I think the Filecard is a sweet idea for a Joe officer, and his description fits with real west pointers.
I did this one a lil while back..Its my favorite custom ive ever made. Yours looks cool too..good job! http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...grid-iron.html

NCO's Backbone of the Army. We lead. Officers do paperwork.
To me Grid-Iron is a TOC-Roach or Fobbit. He heads up the Battle Staff. He sits around from 0900 hr-1700 hr every day except weekends coming up with these crazy off the wall missions that are way too "hollywood" to pull off. He's a CAB Chaser. He sit around all day surfing the net, e-mailing youtube video's that other Joes shot to his friends back home. He's the guy That puts himself in for a medal because he wrote the Op-Order that sent Stalker, Recondo, Leatherneck and Hit n Run into Cobra occupied battle space. He's the guy that hardly ever gets to go outside the wire but the few times he does (usually on his way to some diplomatic hearts and minds meeting) he's praying for an ambush so he can add that CIB to his Class A's just because it's pretty. He's the guy that puts himself in for a CIB just because Cobra launched a few mortars at The PIT and even though they landed 2 miles off target and didn't harm anything "He was there man" He's also the guy who' puts himself in for a Purple Heart because during said Cobra Mortar attack he was at the copy machine and the rumble from the blast slammed the top of the machine on his finger and caused it to swell up a bit. Thats pretty much what comes to mind when I think of Grid-Iron. Well, you certainly put a lot of work, time and effort into a very nice figure of a character you don't think very highly of. I guess everyone needs cannon fodder, but I just use Green Shirts. Sounds like you've had to work with some bad officers. There's no arguing with experience. Of course, every NCO I've ever known who hated officers was just a person with a problem with authority and a lot of insecurity issues who joined the Army because they couldn't get into a decent college or hold down a normal job... and the idea of killing people excited them. But that's just been my experience. The Good NCO's I've known have rightly understood their job is to follow orders, and carry out the commands of their CO. Officers lead, NCO's make it happen. An NCO with an attitude is just as bad as a lazy officer... maybe worse because they usually have no idea what they're really doing and create a break in the chain of command.
