Never was much of a Duke fan, but more recent comics have made him a better developed character. The head, waist, and legs are the only things not painted. All parts except for the POC Duke head are from assorted JoyToy army builder figures (oh yeah, his 1911 with holster is from retro Stalker.)













I was using the Resolute head on him, but found a loose POC Duke on Taobao for cheap so I switched it up. Below is the original custom before I finished painting his shirt and gear, but I had already painted his neck and arms. It was satisfactory for me, but I like the POC head more than the Resolute head.



Lastly, is a WIP pic of figures I'm mostly finished with now. I have to photograph Covergirl to post her and I finishing up the guy in the balaclava. He's probably going to become Wolf Spider (the head and helmet will stay with Varma, but he may donate his body).

Thanks Ponygt50! This is about as close as I get to reproducing an ARAH design, so thank you very much. It's an honor to receive a compliment by a big fan of the character. I admit I didn't care for Duke at all back in the 80's. I've warmed up to him starting with his depiction in Resolute and Renegades as well as some of his run in comics. So while I still favor Flint and Stalker, Duke has climbed my rankings over the last couple of decades. He is now easily within my top 10 Joes.

This Duke is perfect! I love the use of the JoyToy body. I have been working on a Joytoy base Duke myself, as well as a ton of other Joytoy Joes. This recipe is perfect though! This is the 3 3/4 Duke the world needs.
