My take on the GI Joe Collectors' Club figure, which was part of the club's sunset convention set.

Instead of the bright green broad stripes across the lower legs, I used it for the cargo pockets and knees. Otherwise pretty faithful to the usual Slaughter's Marauders color placement.

It's not without its proportion issues. The turkey-sized hands were an artistic choice. The tiny feet... didn't notice them until the figure was done. Sometimes, that happens.

I hear you about the feet. I am sure the black paint made the discrepancy come into focus. I cannot tell you how many times I have painted a part and it ended up looking COMPLETELY different sculpture-wise. Case in point: I just finished painting a Marauders Hiro head. Looked absolutely fine before painting it. Afterward, he looked like a wrinkly geriatric with half-lidded eyes. So, I get it.

Thanks, I do like the figure despite its baby feet. Sometimes I'll do photoshop workups of figures to ballpark how it will come together. This is a problem that I didn't see coming, though.

I considered painting the feet with the "larger" blue of the shirt, but decided to (mostly) stick to the color placement of the GIJCC figure.
