I loved the 1987 GI Joe movie when I was a kid and still enjoy watching it to this day. (Yes, I am one of those people lol) in the opening sequence, Pythona infiltrates the Terrordrome and goes up against several Cobra Troopers, Siegies and also some poor Firebat maintenance crew members. These customs are inspired by the latter. I opted to give them face coverings and it is not meant to be a 100% translation of the characters from the movie.
Parts: Head: PoC Cobra Trooper Hat, holster: Marauder Torso, arms: 50th Shipwreck Legs: RoC Breaker(?) |

Love the movie too (except for CC's demise). It will always hold a special place in my heart lol. These are spot on! Nice work

You have a knack for stripping down designs to their purest, cleanest elements.
The characters were drawn with vests IIRC- but you didn't waste time with them because they're not necessary. Your design conveys all the information it needs to with the simple use of the wrench. If anything, you've improved the design by streamlining it to what it needed to be. Great work as always. |

I love supporting characters like this. Sort of scene filler. It would be cool if Joes had some stripped down simple releases that were direct order, simplified packaging, smaller gear loadout, 90% reused parts and most importantly lower costs - a la the plain Dollar General figs back in the day or the Marvel Legends army builder packs (Skrull trooper, SHIELD trooper etc) which were pulse excluselives with simple cardboard packaging at a reduced price. I'd definitely get a pack of Cobra Mechanics.
