Having admired it for some time, I finally caved and bought the Robo Force Maxx 89 figure:

But I'm using him in a different context, added to which I've customized him a wee bit since this morning's shoot; new portraits soon, hopefully.

Got to it sooner than planned!

I weathered him a bit and, more importantly, removed the vintage-style sticker on his chest. I warmed him up to peel it off, expecting to reveal an expanse of blank white plastic, when instead I was greeted with this amazing dark screen! I can't tell if it's removable, but it's a moot point, 'cause I love the way it looks!

I've got new and improved versions of a couple of kitbashes, but first, a new one, being a fresh riff on an old kitbash from the Pursuit of Cobra era. Amber Dextrous:

The unproduced Sigma 6 Short-Fuze has always captured my imagination:

Finally, Short-Fuze is using the Cobra Island Beachhead body, which I'd previously used for my Mr. T tribute, Barracuda; I liked it well enough, but it felt generic.

Well, you may have noticed that Short-Fuze's "helmet" is Shadow Tracker's head; I decided to let Barracuda have his body, and wow, it suits him so much better than the Beachhead body:

Meanwhile, this morning I captured a fresh portrait of poor, haunted Steeler:

And I've decided that Zarana's as-is look is her Dreadnok/Cobra aesthetic, then there's the adventurer Zarana, which utilizes the Indiana Jones Adventure Series Elsa body. This here is what she wears when she's teaming up with Operation: Monster Force weirdos:

"Oy! Fish-face! Less lore and more sawing parts offa monsters, yeah?"

My friend Dave sent me a Marvel Legends figure. I added some random tech nonsense to her, and Dave suggested the name Terrorbyte, which I love:

Finally, I swapped out the chains on my Call of Duty Spawn; now they match. More notably, I gave him some wings:

Don't be too happy for Al Simmons, though; his take is, "Redemption is just another burden; the military, Heaven, Hell, it's all the same scam."

Hoping to go out for another shoot tomorrow. We'll see.
