Having admired it for some time, I finally caved and bought the Robo Force Maxx 89 figure:

But I'm using him in a different context, added to which I've customized him a wee bit since this morning's shoot; new portraits soon, hopefully.

Got to it sooner than planned!

I weathered him a bit and, more importantly, removed the vintage-style sticker on his chest. I warmed him up to peel it off, expecting to reveal an expanse of blank white plastic, when instead I was greeted with this amazing dark screen! I can't tell if it's removable, but it's a moot point, 'cause I love the way it looks!

I've got new and improved versions of a couple of kitbashes, but first, a new one, being a fresh riff on an old kitbash from the Pursuit of Cobra era. Amber Dextrous:

The unproduced Sigma 6 Short-Fuze has always caprtured my imagination:

Finally, Short-Fuze is using the Cobra Island Beachhead body, which I'd previously used for my Mr. T tribute, Barracuda; I liked it well enough, but it felt generic.

Well, you may have noticed that Short-Fuze's "helmet" is Shadow Tracker's head; I decided to let Barracuda have his body, and wow, it suits him so much better than the Beachhead body:
