This character is a deep dive into a stupid lake. The early 2000's Action Man cartoon featured cgi that is almost painful to watch now. But it had a serialized storyline with a concrete ending, plus enjoyable characters.
Action Man was part of Team Xtreme, which included Ricky Sighn-Baines. Unlike Fidget the internet influencer (before they were even called that) or Grinder the pilot, Ricky's job seemed to be group buzzkill. I used a very similar recipe to make the A-Team's Frankie. Both figures even have dark hair and ponytails. The Frankie figure had a vest, so I didn't sculpt one for Ricky to keep their designs apart. (The A-Team set was made for a friend, so I can't do a side-by-side of the two). The paint for the trousers is about 10% metallic, giving them a bit of subtle shimmer that suits sometimes have. I also didn't put Ricky in a suit jacket because I just made Mission Impossible's Barney Collier in a suit. |

Just Singh, not Singh-Baine? I guess you can't trust the internet!
Glad you like it. It's very niche, so I'm happy. So, as an American, I thought it was stupid that Action Man had an American/Canadian accent. Should have been British. Did that bother you? |

It is Singh-Baines, I was correcting the spelling of Singh.
I never saw the series. If it aired over here it was on some kids cable channel equivalent that I never watched or knew about. I wasn't overly impressed with the extreme sports angle that made up much of the '90s/2000s era Action Man at the time as I was born in '78 and had a small number of AM figures in the early '80s before getting into Action Force and then Joe, so I was more interested in the military Action Man, but as an adult, and a fan-fic writer, the second AM generation does have a good idea for a story behind it even if I don't care for some of it. But, yes, I do think Action Man should be British. |

Gotcha on the name, and thanks. It has been submitted to joecustoms.com with the correct spelling.
I was hoping you'd say that there was a British-voice version released there. Really disappointing that there wasn't. I'll go so far as to say it's disrespectful to the character's legacy. That said, I recommend it if you feel like eating up more time on youtube. It hits all the right spots: a seedy government agency, a sultry villainess turns good at the last minute, likable-but-dopey characters, a robot dog, and a satisfying ending with an actual payoff. I don't know who wrote it or who the show runner was, but they obviously took their jobs seriously (enough). |

If we're going with that spelling, I'm good changing the title, if you'd like.
