There have been some decent not-GI Joe motorcycles for the Dreadnoks to get around on. Mostly Maisto comes to mind, and maybe the X-Men Origins Wolverine one from years ago.
But Hasbro finally has created a Harley-Davidson style motorcycle that works, even if it's still not technically GI Joe. It required using Ghost Rider's legs and hands, but the rest is sourced from Super7's Buzzer. The Retro Marvel 1:18 line and the Super7 aesthetics work perfectly together. 40 years later, Buzzer gets a motorcycle. (I still believe the Dreadnoks came out in late '84, but am probably wrong about that.). Last edited by Clockwise; 10-05-2024 at 09:10 PM.. Reason: more words! |

This turned out really cool. The skulls were a great touch over a generic bike.

Thanks.
It's a low-POA figure, which shuts down a lot of possibilities for display. I started it off with an ARAH Buzzer, but the legs just couldn't contour to the motorcycle body properly. Switched over to the Ghostrider legs (made specifically for the motorcycle, I assume). Then realized I might was well switch in Super7 Buzzer parts to match the parts feel of the Retro Marvel line. A good excuse to paint a S7 Joe figure! The only skull carried over from the Ghostrider bike is the sculpted one on the vertical frame behind the seat. I thought about sculpting a Zartan hood over it to match one of the Dreadnoks logos- but simple works fine in this case. |
