Bless Ollie's for having those $4.99 Zarana figures and 40%-off action figure sales last year. I found an out-of-the-way Ollie's and picked up a couple fodder bodies for less than $3.00 each.

I was lucky enough to find 3-4 Zaranas for $5 @ an Ollie?s last year or the year before I don?t remember now ..

But those are good prices i had already picked up 2 for full price when she was new I also found 3 copperheads and 4 tf outbacks @ the same Ross but different days as well

I already had picked up 2 of each so another easy pick up just for parts

Hopefully this isn't spoiling anything - and - not sure where you drew inspiration (maybe I missed a post) but with that hair color, she definitely makes me think of Friday from the Phoenix Guard. Which is great!
I used her head with the Lady Jaye cap and hair, in service to my own head-canon, but I think it draws out the delicateness of her facial features more than the pink hairpiece. It's very much an underrated sculpt, I think.

Interesting. I've been wanting to combine the General Hawk leather bomber with Dusty's camo fatigues. Might have to try this method to see how it goes.

It's a very nice build, too. It seems to fit her persona, even if she is being more of a Cobra team player.

When I made her I decided she not Zarana anymore she’s just some brunette w/a resting bitch face & part of the squad of scouts and that’s about it

I don’t as many customs anymore but I like to paint and kitbash I am working on a few custom pieces I’ve been putting off while trying to find more bits/parts/greables just to finish them up

After I painted the hair and switched out the tummy I realized who she looked like I gave her no thought when I made her
Problem is i have 5 ferrets/scout and when I po?d the ferrets originally I thought I was going to give a ferret each to torch/ripper/buzzer from the fatal fluffies in space episode
And one to SS/FF like on the originals packaging and then one for the twins but then I realized I liked the scouts better on their ferrets

I also swapped LJ?s hat head onto a Zarana and it looks great better than covergirls hair on Zarana does that?s for sure I need to dig out a 60th sniper and snag some of her parts for another scout kitbash etc ..

And I like the idea of gen hawks leather jacket on dusty legs but I think his legs are kind of skinny and a bit shorter as well compared to the gen hawk/slaughter/Big Ben etc legs

Also the pelvis piece under the diaper will need a lot of heat if you?re swapping those which you might have to if I remember right they are different sizes pelvis pieces and the diapers are not one size fits all pelvis parts be it male or female

I kinda like her more, knowing that we see her face. Gives her authority or uniqueness in this instance; whereas, sometimes not every Cobra needs to reveal their identity.

Marvel Legends has some of the best head swaps for the female figures. Hopefully when they offer a new Lady Jaye, she'll be very new. I need to sort through my bins again. Too many weapons, too many backpacks, not enough heads that I like (or without devoting time to painting).

It wasn't too bad. I had a glass meatloaf dish that I filled with an inch or so of water and microwaved for 2-1/2 mins. Then I let both figures soak. I appreciate that you mentioned the process, though, as I'd not considered using hot water for that portion of the torso.

Cobbled together this guy from General Hawk, Dusty, Grunt, and rummaging through some bins. Not the head I would settle on, but I think he'd also look good with a white or bold-colored scarf.
Passable for a 15-min. build from parts I already owned, but some fine tuning won't hurt him. Would like to give him some brown knee pads at the very least. Unfortunately, the Billy Campbell Rocketeer head is a little too cartoonish for the line, otherwise...

The bottom part of the midriff where it connect to the waist is sometimes tough to get it to release .. I figured you knew but just to clarify how I did it . I have the quake figure from a few years back and I like her head a lot as well maybe I?ll try it out ?
