I got started on my cartoon accurate SkyStriker a few weeks back, but haven't had much time to complete it. Some noticeable differences that I wanted to change on it was repainting the jet in a whiter finish and the rear fins black like in the Sunbow cartoons, I also outlined the entire jet in super fine 01 0.25mm ink to give it more of an anime feel to it. The intakes were also painted in black, as well as the rear engines, most missiles, the jet's cockpit (I never liked the way it looked gray) gauges in silver and green, the seats were painted a combination of black and green. The landing gears, and canopy glass dividers were redone in silver. Reproduction decals by Ruben Jimenez Reynoso ([email protected])

I like it very much. I love how you painted the lines as well.

This one was so beat up and yellow, I almost got rid of it...I really thought it had no destination other than than trash.

Really sharp! Love it!
My only suggestion would be to paint the "metal" parts of the canopy to match the color of the body.

I had it that way originally, but though the metal dash would make it look a bit more realistic.

AWESOME!!! I'm wondering if anyone has plans to customize the "JSI 1/18 F-14A Tomcat" into the GI Joe SkyStriker?
