Figures Easy Classified Dr. Venom

Here is an easy Dr. Venom anyone can do.
Picked up a black series Grand Moff Tarkin at Ollies for ten bucks and put the head on a Marvel Legends Egghead. All it takes is a tiny bit of drilling to get the ball joint to fit.

Not sure why the pic rotated sideways..

That's pretty good. The legs have strange proportions a bit and the arms are super buff looking, but the lab coat could just be baggy and the guys isn't an athlete.

Iron Doom's head also looks great on him too.

Especially since Black Series noggins tend to run slightly smaller than ML heads.

For a swap-out instant Dr. Venom, it looks solid! JJ is right, though, this Dr. V isn't skipping arm day at the gym.

I always thought that Dr. Venom looked more like Danny Kaye than anyone else. Something about Mike Vogelburg's artwork felt like it had some Walter Mitty influence in it.

I was thinking the same thing. Nice to see how it actually looks.

I didn't want to start a new thread for my Dr. venom, but I had posted this in the Classified pictures thread a few weeks ago. The Egghead body is kinda big, so I used the Dr. doom head for mine. It's near the bottom. https://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-j...hread-220.html

I figured lots of folks have had this same idea, but I thought I'd throw it on here in case someone hadn't and wanted to try it too. I like your version with Doom head also Nighthawk.
I've always thought Venom was older in my head and looked a bit like Peter Cushing and when I saw the figure discounted at Ollies, I had to give it a shot.

I agree, the arms are buff. It isn't something I'll notice much with him on my shelf so this quick easy version works for me.

My 3.75" Dr Venom uses Tarkin's head. I like that Tarkin head uou used, but he's not cheap in Canada
