It was earned. And, fair being fair, if you made rubber masked, dress greens and rain coat version of 'Nam vet SE, I would certainly be a fan of that. I just don't subscribe to an OP ninja warrior being unbeatable in a futuristic military setting. BUT you paid homage to a design concept and that worked out quite well.

*chef?s kiss* Magnifique!! This was one of my favorite versions as a kid, probably bc he?s the one I got the most play out of. That said, the bright Orange weapons were always a bit much. The subtraction of orange and the more realistic paint job make this a HUGE winner for me! Bravo!!!

A well done custom of a figure that I really wasn't crazy about. Not a fan of the color scheme on this Snake-Eyes (not your choice in colors, but Hasbro's). That being said, you made the custom look like it should (for this version of SE), and your paints are as crisp and clean as ever! Also, extra points for using the 3D printed gauntlets, which I have tried shrinking to 1:18 scale, but the bands end up so thin they break with the slightest stretching to put them on the arms; looks like they work quite well in 1:12 scale!
-Todd Shakka85 Thanks for the kind words though my brother! Quote:
The flash suppressor is wrapped then washed- correctly. I say this a lot but wash can really fuck up a good paint job and a lot of people rely on it to his bad work.

I'm kicking around the idea of making similar use of Grunt's head.
Looks like Monster Force might have a decent dress green figure, but he's a general. https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...ils/253518?o=4 |

Uncannily good. My favorite, favorite version of Snake Eyes *ever*. Don't know why. Either way, though, you owned this version in the most amazing way possible. I love it.

I got out of Joes in 1987 (middle school and girls), but came back to it when the 25th figures were in full stride in 2008. Since then, I have familiarized myself with the 88-94 figures, and anniversary figures. I just never liked that version of SE. Good job again though!!!

For all the effort you put into all your customs, it would be cool to see what you come up with for "ulitmate" versions of your top characters, Slice-ified, as if you were sitting down for the first time to design a once and for all figure.
