You might not have the you-can't-go-home experience I did. GR still holds up as one of the best sci-fi shows of the 80's (animated and live action).

Thanks on the bald spot, too. I should've feathered the hair around the edges more than I did, but it holds up okay.

Better than Buck Rogers?

Nah, it works. I liked that he didn't try to hide it in the film as some actors would.

Just watched this the other day, what an underrated movie. Great job, keep up the good work.

Yes, it's a very fun movie. A month or so ago (when I was working on my Sosa custom looking for images) I came across a recent article with Jessica Biel. She's still up for making a sequel.

Glad you like it. Just finished Tawnia Baker, with another movie figure, "Lynch" in the works now.

Thanks. I should have sculpted some bits of fabric outside of the collar and around the bottom edging of the sweater. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it.

I appreciate the comment about the style. It's evolved out of my stubbornness to keeping using all of the fodder I've accumulated over the years. This means I've intentionally not bought any Marauder or similar figures (although I use some Marauder weapons and Fortnite accessories).

I also have a format checklist that I rotate through, which forces me to use parts that I otherwise wouldn't have. With Tawnia Baker, it was time to make an ARAH custom. That's why the Zarana boots got mixed into the recipe. The turned out to work with the other parts perfectly.

Another influence in my style is that I go waaaay back and use Fisher-Price Adventure People and Tonka Play People for parts, too. And I've never tried out customizing any Classified figure, a format gaining increasing popularity.

Interesting how imposed constraints can sometimes push the boundaries of creativity in unexpected ways. On a slightly different but not unrelated note I expect you enjoy certain freedoms that customizers (emphasizing the expensive and coveted modern parts) may not quite know.

That is true. The thing I really give myself a lazy pass on is articulation, and I'm usually fine with low POA figures. Really good head sculpts by some of the custom casters/creators on eBay offsets some of the junk parts I'll use. Plus, I have an endless supply of cheap, cheap fodder.

But sometimes there are figures that could have been better with more POAs on them. I made a fairly decent custom of the Black Major figure a few years back, but used "semi-squatting" legs from a Star Wars figure. So the figure looked okay in action poses or behind a vehicle-mounted weapons system, but otherwise looked really out-of-place.
