When playing with the kids, Bazooka and Big Lob became the most popular characters. Because of their similar uniforms they became the best friends in our games, and many of our games are "Buddy cop" games about the adventures of Bazooka and Big Lob.
None of the kids ever watch a G.I. Joe cartoon or read a G.I. Joe comic, so it is funny and interesting to watch how they invent their own backstory and cannon for these figures.

When playing with the kids, Night Fox usually plays the role of a generic evil terrorist. He is more or less a replacement for Cobra Trooper, a figure I do not own at the moment. Not sure why, but to the kids he always looked like an evil character. Maybe it it because his face is covered.
In the first picture Rock 'N Roll was captured by Cobra. He is later rescued by Bazooka and Big Lob. One of the reasons Night Fox is so successful as an evil terrorist is because of the weird angle he holds his weapons, a perfect angle to execute a prisoner.  In this picture Cobra plans surprise attack on G.I. Joe. There are couple of Night Vipers out of the frame.  Here are several pictures of Night Fox guarding the secret Cobra base, hidden inside the doll house.
