[Dravenheart]

A classic game set! Anyone remember Rival Turf? Or Brawl Brothers. Or the Peace Keepers. Or by its Japanese name, Rushing Beat. Game went through a lot. I refer to them by their Japanese names, Rick Norton and Douglas Bild, as opposed to their weaker US names, Jack Flak and Oozie Nelson, respectively. Rival Turf is not a great game, and does not hold up to my nostalgia, but I did play it a lot as a kid. I also made the set a few years ago, but this was my first chance getting to do each in player one and player two colors.

Rick Nortons - Head was a cast with the hair resculpted. Cut and dremeled the feet to fit the Gamerverse pegs. Sculpted the bottom of the pants, sleeves, shirt, and jacket. Full repaint, and all done!
Douglas Bilds - Sculpted on the upper legs, bottom of the sleeves, gloves, full torso, hat, and belt. Full repaint, and all done!

Rick and Douglas both look great.

Nice to know somebody else that was into the Rushing Beat/Rival Turf series. I still own the SNES games. Me and my big brother use to play them together back in our teens.

Same. We played them a bunch. Mostly because we had a rental place near our house, and I kept renting it. lol He preferred better options. Miss that place. Never did buy it. Always did want to gather a collection of all my old favorites. Even tried to buy an old X-Men Arcade once. Just found out too late. Thanks for the compliment!

I was only supposed to make the blue and red, but I was really tempted to make a player three green variant on the side. And even a little curious about a player four yellow variant. But unfortunately I didn't have any extra time to fit them in. Was really curious about how the green would look. lol Especially on those full suit colors on Douglas.
