From what I've heard, she was nudged out of the show because Peppard didn't care for her/the character. It's a shame that the movie didn't pull her back in for a cameo, as it would have been a nice way to bury the hatchet. |

Fortnite is becoming my go-to line for gear nowadays. Still haven't finished a full-on Fortnite figure (although I'm working on my first right now), but the gear is spectacular. Here I color coded all of the "mission gear" so it would be obvious it was added to her normal clothing at the last minute. The satchel, (molded-on) sheath, and gloves are all light brown. |

Thanks!
Yes, there is lots of goodness still left in the ARAH molds. I've found that the rivets and screw insets are just horribly irritating and visually break the flow of the parts. Gotta hide 'em and then the molds are good to go. |

Wonderful custom! I love the paint job and, my GOODNESS, the care and thought taken into the parts choice is superb. Chef?s kiss good.
I could be wrong, but wasn?t Melinda Culea kinda quote-unquote pushed out by George Peppard? I don?t think he liked the character. Thought she was redundant. I really wish that during the ARAH era that there had been just 2 or 3 more female figures to pick from. It gets difficult to disguise/mix and match pieces with so few choices. Plus, Scarlett (both versions) and Baroness have parts that are too iconic to use with other figures easily. |

Thanks!
In some ways, AAA was the easiest figure to get right, because her look changed weekly. She didn't really have a signature accessory like all of the men did (I'm counting Dirk Benedict's hair as his accessory, if you're curious). That's one of the reasons I used used Galoob's color set- to give it some visual anchoring. Yeah, sometimes I make a really nice figure and fear it will be hard to surpass. This might be one. But that's how skills improve, I suppose. |

Peppard seems to have been the source of trouble. He had squabbles with Culea and Heasley, as well as T. His role originally, or almost went to James Coburn. Whom I think would have made an excellent Hannibal Smith. Perhaps there would have been less drama on the set as well.

I just watched that.
Damn, that was fun. My guess is that it was semi-staged to some extent? No attempt to contact Melinda Culea, which made me think her agent said absolutely no way, hence the lack of any reaching out. An interview with her would've really rounded it out. Also, that was made in 2005! Holy shit time flies. |
