Sh*tty Custom Number 2 time!!! Possum
So this one is inspired by a few things: a BF 2042 specialist, and my daughter who loves to play as that character. Plus her love of all things morbid haha. POSSUM Primary- Assault Secondary- RPG Backstory- Possum loves to jump into action, and is not afraid to be the first one to run in headfirst into danger. Experienced in room breeching tactics, riot control and aggressive hand to hand combat. She's the loose wire you want leading the charge. Facts: Possum used to work SWAT in DT Milwaukee, until she snapped one day and smashed the hand off a suspect who had downed a teammate. She then used that hand to write her name on her shield. That got her kicked from the force, but that style of aggression made her a perfect fit join to Smack's Ghost Operatives. Figure- Acid Rain - repainted from top down, as it was a reddish color and I wanted it with more blues and greens to match the BF 2042 skin. Did a brown color on the hair match my daughters more so. Gear- Shield is JoyToy, gun MGR. Backpack and RPG from a Steel Brigade fig. Some handmade items, pistol and knife hostlers, belt. First time doing magnets! I cut the back peg off and mounted magnets in the vest of the figure, then another in the RPG backpack. Not 100% happy with the RPG paint job :( I give this one a 2/10 or maybe its a step back... I dont know, but it was a fun one to put together. |

It’s nice to see more customs using JT and acid rain, which I have never owned. Interesting characters. Nice work!

#3 is complete, and I'm actually pretty happy with how this one turned out.
Codename - "Ketchup" Primary Role- Assault / Grenadier Secondary- Shotgun Backstory- Andrew aka "Ketchup" is one of the youngest members of Smack's Ghost Operative team. Brash, fearless, and somewhat reckless, he runs guns a blazing into combat. His energy is contagious on the battlefield, lucky for him his quick reflexes tend to get him out of trouble. Facts: Ketchup earned his nickname for having never come out of battle without a bullet wound. He's a medics worst nightmare!! Figure- Head- Joe Body- MGR Gear- Mostly all MGR. they have some amazing items!! A number of soft items added. Camo turned out not too bad, I prefer the helmet over the pants. But this is my favorite one I made so far. 5/10 https://ibb.co/VvwZWDT https://ibb.co/VvwZWDT https://ibb.co/D42WRXj https://ibb.co/ftqpVkR https://ibb.co/cQsd954 https://ibb.co/ct9DVGd Last edited by NSSMACK; 02-04-2023 at 08:02 PM.. |

Great stuff. Love the colors. You can never go wrong with red and black. Those pineapple grenades are a good choice, too. I am a penny-pincher, so I always go for the baseball grenades, but the WWII pineapple ones are much better.
I hear you on the camouflage. Camo has always been a sore spot with me. Also, my hands shake more the older I get, so I always only go for one color if I even do Camo at all. It is a balancing act that I just never seem to get right. He could change his name to Blain, that way he wouldn’t have time to bleed. Also, maybe depending on what province they are in, he is sometimes called Catsup, wakka wakka. (Sorry, I don’t normally lay down historical Dynastic Chinese humor)

Thanks for sharing these, they're awesome! I was about to jokingly scold you for painting an Acid Rain fig, before I saw you based it on your daughter. That's great and the figure is cool as well.
Ketchup is a fun idea with great execution. I've only begun painting and don't have the skills to tackle camo yet. Only thing missing in his bio is how he's a messy eater, so the medics always have to ask "Bullet or burger?"

Yeah, I had started collecting those a few years ago, I feel they mix pretty well with Joes, depending on which ones you have. I don't collect any of the Warhammer items, but I like the military line. |

More fantastic stuff.
The use of fabric on Ketchup's mask/headwrap gives an amazing amount of texture, and holds up at the scale. Nicely done. |
