The hardest part of the sculpt was actually blending the feet onto the lower legs. They don't sit exactly right, but good enough. I haven't figured out a good technique yet for making swirly hair, either. But I'll get there one day.

That means a lot and I'm glad the effort I put into the figure is visible.

I was a huge supporter of the ReAction fan when they were announced. As someone who frequently makes low POA customs, like this one, it would be hypocritical of me not to.

Once I got them in hand, though, I found it hard to get beyond the stiff sculpture. Very rigid, with not a hint of any natural body language. For comparison, the old Palitoy 5POA Action Force figures had arms that were pre-sculpted to hold their firearms. It was a good work around for limited arm articulation.

But no knees in 2022? That really, really hurts to see new stuff with no knee articulation.

I probably would have bought another set of Cobra soldiers if they had better positioned arms AND knee articulation. As it is, I just left them carded.
