This is the other custom I was working on this weekend. I found a 3D printed head of Bruce Lee's Kato and knew exactly what I wanted to do. Normally I don't post before shots, but I wanted to in this instance:



And here is the final result. I'm still not great with doing the eyes, but I feel the mask takes care of a lot of the heavy lifting.


Head: Custom from eBay
Torso: Dime Novel Legends Buckaroo with the flat chest piece upside down
Hands: Zorro open hand from BFS and trigger hand from MTF
Waist, legs and feet: MTF suited figure
Lower Waist skirt: MTF Russian Soldier
Dart: Kato dart from the Green Hornet & Kato Kubricks set.

I'm really happy with how this came out. I just need to find someone who either made or can make a Van Williams as The Green Hornet head. I got lucky finding a Kato head, but as we all know, you need The Green Hornet and Kato together.

Thanks everyone! I was so excited to do this one. The custom head showed up at just the right time and I had the spare parts to make this sooner rather than later. I can’t tell you how glad I am I kept that Green Hornet & Kato Kubricks set!

I think that just leaves The Green Hornet, The Lone Ranger and Tonto on my list of pulp characters. Maybe there will be more down the line. That Green Hornet and Lone Ranger head aren’t going to be easy to find.
