So, there's a lot of different moving parts to how I got here. First was the most basic thing- I wanted to do a v1 SAW and also a Robert Skelton/Overkill SAW.
Unrelated, but simultaneously, I wanted to do a "realistic" Nemesis Enforcer character- bring that character into Joe without the supernatural and Cobra-la elements. Also, I feel like there's this weird Mandela effect with SAWs, as I always remember them to be this garrish pink color, and I've seen lots of customs and art to that effect (maybe that was a comics thing), but the figure itself was really mostly purple. So, when all that leveled out, I realized that the color pallet for my SAW would have been very close to my color palette for a real world Nemesis Enforcer, so I decided to make my v1 SAW that character, and why not make him Robert Skelton's brother? So, here SAW Viper v1 aka Nemesis Immortal, and SAW Viper v1 aka Overkill

These are cool, really love how you repurposed the ROC helmet with some slick paint, & kudos on the paint work overall!

When we got the Hasbro 50th Saw Viper that looked like a grape, I realized that I had no idea what color a Saw Viper should be. I remembered them being a maroon & pink color but I never had one growing up and never held a vintage to this day so I?ve only ever seen him in pictures or modern form. I like your recreation of the color, have to check out my Hasbro & Club offerings again, haha, you are gonna end up causing me to make my own Saw Viper because I remember not being blown away with either official version.
Funny that one of them started as a Nemesis Enforcer....always amusing when a custom starts with one idea, then turns into something totally different when it is completed. The builds for your Saw Vipers are badass! Love that you decided to make two distinct characters with their own looks, it really adds to their personalities. Hard to choose between them because they both get the job done so well. Both just came out fantastic. The helmet setup is awesome and your paint jobs are excellent, my favorite touch are those green accents though. Works perfectly on their visors, but then I love the color on the knee pads of your first and in the grooves of the thigh armor on the other. Plus on the belt buckles of both. That color just calls to me, love it. Great finishing touches with the distinct heads & weapons. Knocked these out of the park!
