Next up for the leftovers from The Bad Guys is Buzzard.
Buzzard was the one named character who appeared as a 5" figure, but not as a 1:18 figure. Buzzard is getting a gender-bend here, and re-imagined as the co-pilot for The Big Bad Chopper. I'm happy with how the painting turned out, particularly on the face. But overall this figure is a flop. I oversculpted the helmet size, which hurts the figure because it's already very small framed (a Princess Leia figure). Four to go and The Bad Guys are done! I like how she came out, has a futuristic space vibe to her, like something from a 70?s sci fi movie so the helmet size doesn?t take away from it at all for me. Then you crushed it with the paint job on the face and really like your navy / silver combo.

Thanks, you're very generous.
I might have to bump this head over to another body that's not so tiny. But for now... it's done. |

Haha, my buddy has been introducing me to a lot of toy lines from the 70’s over the years so your Buzzard just calls to me now because she fits right in with some of the stuff he’s been showing me.
That’s what I wasn’t able to put my finger on earlier.....her helmet reminds me of the one from TRON! I knew it really was giving me sci fi vibes for some reason.

Yeah, I can see that.
If you ever have time to fill, watch some of the "making of" videos about Tron. It's amazing to see all of the work that was done to make the actors look like CGI, at a level not possible at that point. |
