[Blade Raider]

I haven't posted in ages, but since this is based on a GI Joe thing, I figured I would.

SO-DO Kamen Rider Grenadier/Destro

I keep flipping on the name, one's cool and one's simple. Either way, this is Destro with Kamen Rider powers.




Parts:
Helmet- SO-DO Grease Perfect Kingdom
Torso- SO-DO Build Phoenix and Vacuum
Arms/Legs- SO-DO Phantom Build
Hands- SO-DO Humagear/Trilobite Magia
Right shoulder pad/cape- SO-DO Espada Golden Alangina
Left shoulder pad- SO-DO Build Phoenix
Weapon- SO-DO Lord of Wise



I've had this on the back burner for nearly a year and getting the rapier with Lord of Wise was the last push I needed. The red was was also my test for the new Gundam paints I recently got. It went mostly okay and I like the resulting shade of red.



Of course, I based this off of the Iron Grenadier Destro design (who I just painted the eyes of while doing this). I made the gloves silver based on Destro's original design mostly just for a bit more color. I figure the exhausts on the gloves give him a thruster punch.

But what about Trashbag Destro?!

Awesome concept and execution! My 4yr old loves Power Rangers and "Ultra-Man"/"Ultron" here in China, so I think he loves this more than any of my customs...smh

Love it, such a unique idea and you really killed it! Great build, paint looks fantastic and just visually screams Destro but has so many new wrinkles that it still feels totally new.

The posed & group shots are awesome too, hope we see more along these lines!
