I mean, I did 3d model it but the pics you are seeing are of an actual printed product.

Amazing! Love how you've updated and expanded on the design.
Semi-off-topic, this reminds me that I've never really been able to wrap my head around the surveillance outpost. Like, I get the concept, but somewhere between the specificity of engineering (odd angles, alcoves, and recesses abound, alongside well-rendered components of questionable function like the leg/strut things) and necessary abstractions (no back) I can't seem to get any sense of what it's actually supposed to be/how it's supposed to function. It's a very confusing design (to me at least). Quote:
Yeah, it always struck me as weird as a kid. Growing up and joining the army signal corp definitely didn't help. Our MI units had tactical vans with surveillance equipment, but as pointed out. They are vehicle mounted and require external power. (whether by generator or taping into existing infrastructure) The surveillance port almost always seemed like something that wouldn't be set up for surveillance, but would exist somewhere like on the remote parts of Cobra Island. Like a small monitoring station to allow a small team of Cobras to keep watch on an entire beachhead, or bay, or maybe a mountain pass without having to use an entire company of troopers to physically guard every possible ingress Joes or other interlopers might exploit. Something that would be viewed as a semi permanent support structure. Not something you are using in enemy territory where you might have to get scarce quickly.

Wow, so well-executed!!
Nice to know I'm not the only one that gets stringing with silver filament. Easy to remove, so I just deal with it until finish time.

Very cool! I dig your stylistic choice on the half Cobra sigil...grew on me quickly!
Makes me think an updated Surveillance Post like this or even the Joe HQ is possible in a BAF format. |

The more I see this the more I can appreciate the work you put into designing and printing it. It's a beautiful piece, excellent job on it.
