Snake has a really cool look to him. Love the head, you really gave that one a lot of personality. Really like that it doesn?t cheat and hide the eyebrow behind the patch, gives him a nice expressive look. Then a great build on top of that!
Really fun group you are building out. I dove into an entertaining google search when you first started this toyline.

Really fun group you are building out. I dove into an entertaining google search when you first started this toyline. I cut out the eye and then sculpted a patch over the hollow spot so it would fit more accurately. The build was a lot of fun. The harness straps are textured, which helps contrast against the vertical lines of the sweater. The push mold pouches are kind of a headache, but they really bulk up the figure. As for the Remco toyline, I loved the Sgt. Rock/Bad Guys figures as a kid. Even with their short arms and inability to hold their accessories, they were still lots of fun. They were perfect stand-ins for Cobra soldiers, which became harder and harder to find (or at least I remember it that way) and they were much cheaper. $1.97 a pop sticks in my head, but that could be off. Like you, I'm having fun learning about the characters as I go. |
