I thought it'd be cool to create a thread of kitbashes/customs using various parts, some of which I don't even know where they came from, but still found purpose for. This little project has lingered in the back of my mind but the availability and non restrictive cost of MTF parts somewhat gave me an alternative that I continue to enjoy very much.
In any case, I think H&R phrased it well the other day when he said a ton of credit goes to the Hisstank Community because it's fun to see everyone's work and how that evolved overtime. Seeing the way people here approach similar work, either be a character or particular parts or paints used or with anything really helps shape our own projects and how we perceive them. It surely benefited me. So a big thanks to those who continue to post, build, customize, comment and generally keep coming back to the forum to share something. It truly takes a village to achieve just about any meaningful change and I feel it applies here as well. The Executioner Last edited by paokole; 02-07-2022 at 02:42 PM.. |

Ninja Commando Kai
This is a WIP for which I'd love to hear any suggestions in making him more loveable yet no less lethal or terrifying! Road Warrior Last edited by paokole; 02-09-2022 at 11:21 AM.. |

This one needs some more accessorizing and probably a couple of touches on the torso to highlight the grenades etc.

Bunch of badass figures in this thread already! Loving the different styles of parts you put together for the Executioner and ninja commando. They are such different parts but you blended them seamlessly to make some cool new looks.
Yakuza is a fun new character, love the wrapped lasso. My favorite is the Road Warrior! Talking about evolving, I remember back when I didn?t realize that you painted, then you started dropping customs with awesome looking weathering or small paint apps and they really made the parts pop! Same goes here, just that bit of red paint really changes the look of the black gunner mask and just hooks my attention when looking at that figure immediately. Then a great build as well!

Road Warrior is so much fun to work on as I plan to accessorize a bit further and apply some paint accents to make him pop even more. I knew I had to play with that mask a bit, same way with the Mandos, turning them into their own unique characters yet belonging to same the faction. I hope to be able to add some more cool stuff and keep this thread fun. |

Another little project added. Parts come from various sources even torso is half Bazooka and the rest don't ask me. At the end, this once WIP build came together and a bit of paint to finish off another mercenary to join the rest in this thread.

I know it's well established by now through movies/shows and SW lore depicting stories that the Mandalorian clan is a dying race given the siege of Mandalore, various civil wars and the Imperial occupation that followed. Surviving clans suffered a great deal from that and never fully regained their once legendary reputation.
Well, THIS IS NOT THE WAY in my collection as I take on the challenge on steadily adding new members as I envision them with or without beskar armor yet with plenty of appetite for bounty hunting! Mandalorian Gladiator Tromeros Last edited by paokole; 02-22-2022 at 01:35 PM.. |
