Your pal dropped another killer figure! That head wrap is epic! Then I absolutely love all of the different ways that he hid some of the easily recognizable MTF build parts so the figure came out much more unique. Amazing job with the paint job and all of the straps, really does look real world accurate.
Then your group of Expendables are fantastic as well! Those Spartan heads match up perfectly with the Hasbro bodies so that?s just a mean looking group! Love how you have them all geared up. I still need to finish those movies, only ever saw the first one. Thanks for the compliment! I still have a lot of work to even get to the point of saying the movie characters are present but still I'm quite pleased with how these look that I can also use as point of reference to add the rest of them. You can never go wrong with those Spartan heads! Cheers for always stopping by man. Quote:

Bro, thanks for the kind words! I was solely looking to achieve exactly that; one team looking groovy aesthetically sharing a common purpose. Granted the one picture from the movie promos I really like shows all of them in black, I still went with the green military look. I'm happy with whatever progress made so far. Cheers for always stopping by man. . |

I've always been a fan of the 2015 Convention Iron Grenadiers color scheme and since I never owned the figures I decided to create my own little crew (General Mayhem, Metal Head, Iron Anvil etc).
But I decided to start with Iron Grenadier affiliated associates hired on commission to address/perform more specific tasks that require their expertise and unique skillset. Iron Grenadier Demonas Iron Grenadier Zinon |

Demonos! Oh wow is that guy intimidating! That head is so cool and I love the overcoat, red straps & the blood splatter look on his knee pads! Compliment the black uniform perfectly. That?s a guy Destro can call in to handle some business!
And Zinon......the Uzi or the crossbow, he?s gonna get the job done! That?s a fun head, helmet & scarf combo, totally unique look. Then again, jet black with red accents will just never get old. Destro definitely had a killer color scheme right out of the gate.

Working on a Batman custom came to mind after watching the new movie the other day. Luckily, I had a spare DC Comics Multiverse head I could use and a spare soft goods cape. Then I tried out a plastic cape from Star Wars to see which look I prefer. Still not sure so I posted the figure with both. Body is Torpedo 50th Anniv. Until I find an unmasked head sculpt to add to, this will do for now.

I know you told me that Batman is still a work in progress, but I NEVER would have guessed how great that Torpedo body would work, & would have never have picked up on it's usage unless you mentioned it. Surprisingly, I think I like the hard cape better... I keep looking, but I think it's because it's very dynamic, and puffed around the neck... He's off to a roaring good start good buddy!
