This is my "replacement" for the horrible Rock 'n Roll included with the Stars & Stripes Forever set.
It's closer to the package art/photography, with a bit of Marvel flair with the hair wave and red turtleneck. Last edited by Clockwise; 02-19-2022 at 07:57 PM.. |

Wow CB the group shot is fantastic!! And this is a great looking Rock & Roll!! Would have loved to have had this one in the Stars and Stripes set! My bother surprised me Christmas’97 with this set. It was a great Christmas gift, I was 20 and he told his wife he wanted to get it for me. I lost my brother in 2019 and I still remember that set and Christmas because of him.

I really like this RnR. It's the black shirt that looks really sharp behind the ammo straps. I'm actually tempted to try the black shirt + green pants on some other OGs as well.

I like it. I really wish they gave us what was on the box art versus what we actually got.

Marvel did the black sweater look on Hawk in one of the issues that introduced the '83 figures. It's a great color switch up, and a shame that Hasbro never tried it for all of the recolors they did. Did any of the '82 chests get used again after the tan Clutch/Grunt figures? Such a shame. Speaking of the ammo straps, I realized I forgot to paint the silver over the blue on the back ammo band! |

They butchered Rock 'n Roll (and Breaker) in that set. The use of the Roadblock and other parts could have worked, if they would have put the time and effort into it better. I'm sure there was a better head they could have substituted, too. |

Wow, just looked up the box set......now THIS is the Rock n Roll that they should have given people! He’s fantastic! Love the camo on the pants, the black shirt is a cool look for him and excellent paint job on the head! Always enjoy seeing your o ring creations! So unique and so awesome!

Thanks.
I enjoy making them. I wonder if there will be an upswing in ARAH customs once the new figures get released. |

I was wondering that as well. I’ve never done a custom o ring (only kitbashes as a kid), so you know what, I’m gonna go for it when the Retro collection starts dropping! Not sure who I’ll tackle but I’ll pick someone up to at least paint.
