Non G.I. Joe Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos Customs

Another toy line I loved as a kid was Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos. Just like Rambo Force of Freedom I wanted them in Joe scale because I thought they were the perfect karate/ninja unit to send out on special missions. This was before G.I. Joe did the Ninja Force thing. Well it took over 30 years, but here they are in Joe scale. They are also in my Best of the 80s thread.

It looks like you put a lot of work into these, and it paid off! These 1/18th scale figures are better than the originals (I hate to sound like a broken record, but it's true!). Great work!

Yup, every bit as badass as I remember them! Chuck and Super Ninja are probably my favorites now after finally seeing the show. But that bulk sculpting on Tabe and detailed sculpting on Kimo, you make picking someone over them tough! Just a great group.

Where did that Chuck head come from again? So much better than using a Hasbro Outback head so probably have to track that or something similar down for my custom.

But hey.....where is Too Much?! Haha, you have to make the young sidekick! Then you have another character we can rank above Scott Trakker in your child sidekick ranking tiers! ?Toooooo much!?

I just appreciate that you took the time to comment. Like I said in the Rambo thread is there any other scale better than 1:18.

Too much would be one I would like to make eventually. Probably just pick up a Shortround from Indy. Should have picked him up when he was cheap. He isn't anymore.

The head was bought long ago from the casting site I shall not name as they screwed lots of us over on this forum. So you know who I'm talking about. It's really sad b/c they did great work and were so great for a while but I will never give them another penny.

Hey man haven't heard from you in a long time. I appreciate that. We just don't have any fat sculpts in this scale so no choice on Tabe and Kimo was tricky with all of the details on his uniform, but in the end I was happy with them both.
