Okay, I love this! Really cool o ring build, then love the paint job you did, name you gave him and the fact that you paired him with the RAT. If I ever end up with a RAT, I’ll definitely be making a modern era copy of him to pilot it. Just an awesome job on this one.
Never thought much about the RAT since it was one of the Joe vehicles I completely missed growing up but I do like the overall look of it, especially paired with your driver.

The RAT was one of the last few vehicles I bought in the late 90's, way after the toys dried up and disappeared from shelves. I found it at some local mom n' pop toy store that had a wad of dusty, decrepit GI Joe stuff left over from their stock.. I actually like this vehicle a lot, it's just incredibly cheaply made. The lack of a bottom to the vehicle really kills it for me. It has a fun play feature, and despite it being neon red I find it to be a neat addition to the Cobra armory. It's sort of like a gaudy early 90's equivalent to the Moccasin for me. Great for rolling in packs and hunting down Joes at top speed in marshlands and stuff.
You put together a slick looking pilot for it. I kind of wish his color scheme didn't mimic that of the RAT entirely..I would have liked to see maybe less bright green on the chest, and maybe make the forearms and/or legs a separate, neutral color..just my opinion though. Great use of the Neo Viper head, too. He needs a cool sidearm though! |

Thanks, guys.
Let me know if you ever make a ME version, H&R! I stuck w the electric lime because I had a tube that was that color. No mixing or fuss required. Laziness sometimes guides me. My initial color scheme was going to be to mimic the HISS Driver, but with a dash of lime on the Cobra belt symbol, and the rest of the lime replaced by silver. In the end, though, the Rat has a silly look (that, yes, I like) so I let Sebum follow that path. The Neo Viper head was a lucky piece, but now I know it can be salvaged w some epoxy. I have several of them that I'll have to use down the road, probably on similar figures. As far as a weapon, one of the BF2000 figures came with one that would be perfect. A rifle with spikes in front of the trigger guard. Dodger? Maybe Avalanche? |

Think it really makes him pop and matches the Rat perfectly.

Nothing crazy, just a Marauder red German with some MTF parts, a little sculpt and paint. Close to what a lot of people have done for Red Shadows, just guys that I’ve had half finished on my desk for months now that I finally finished. Just need to get some fun pics taken of them and they’re ready to post.
