I have an affinity for female customs because toy companies just don't make enough of them. Allegedly they don't sell but tell that to all the Iron Men and Greef Kargas on the pegs in my local area. You want a the Baroness? Go look online, pal, you aren't finding her at Target.
So when GI Joe introduced a new character in issue 281 I was immediately interested in making a custom, especially when I saw a Joytoy female maintenance figure with a cybernetic arm. You see, US Army Staff Sargent Regina Allen, nicknamed Sherlock for her problem solving abilities, was aiding the Joes on a mission near Trucial Abysmia when a grenade landed near them. Valiantly, she dove on the grenade and tried to toss it away from them but it exploded in mid-air, costing her her left arm. Later, the Joes provided her with a cybernetic prosthetic and offered her a position, which she accepted. She only appeared 4-5 issues ago, so her story is pretty new, and where it goes from here is anyone's guess. So she's made from parts from several JoyToyu figures, but I'm not super familiar with the line so I don't readily know the names, as well as a headcast I got off ebay, and MTF hat and holster. But seeing that figure with the robotic arm, I wanted to give her a try. And here she is:

Thanks, I had to look up the names for the figures since I got them off aliexpress and their names aren't exactly clear, so here's the three main figures:
The arms came from the first figure listed as Mech Maintenance Team B, the waist and legs came from the middle figure listed as CrossFire Fox Hunter B, and the vest and torso came from the figure on the left I got off Amazon labeled Dark Source Viper Squad Betty. The head was a cast from cobra1678 on ebay, the Police decals were from 87spuds (Bad Mother Tatoos) on ebay. The hat and holster are MTF. Phew. Think that covers it!

I gave up on ARAH after the SnakeEyes Hunt arc, so I know nothing of the character. From what I’ve seen/read here on Hisstank...Sherlock is basically a Misty Knight carbon copy???
Cool custom of her by the way.

Yeah, I guess that's a fair comparison.
