Hey Tankers!!!
This is another simple update to a classic character. Nothing fancy just head swaps, and accessory switching. I couldn't wait to pick up the new Sgt. Thunderblast w/ amored panther. So when I did I automatically had to do the update. I took a Breaker head and swapped it with the Thunderblast head. Why a Breaker head? It's the only head that will accomodate a vintage helmet. Next I took the 2 pack Thunder's helmet w/visor and classic antennas and put it on the Breaker head I mentioned earlier. The helmet is a darker green, but that's ok to me. At least he has his antennas!!!! I could of used the V1 helmet or antennas instead but I just couldn't do that to vintage Thunder. I have this ROC Thunder proudly standing next to his trusty Slugger. Just awesome!!!! Before: Sgt. Thunderblast Sgt. Thunderblast w/ armored panther "armadillo" After: Thunder Thunder w/ Slugger |

What head did you use? The ROC head is too small for the helmet.

dsrader- thanks again!!!
steve2477- thanks joecom- I totally agree with you. Captain Carstein- thanks nighthawk- I used the 25th Breaker head from the Ram vs. Air Chariot vehicle pack. I like that one better than the comic 2-pack because the full beard is more prominent. I can picture Thunder out in the field days at a time, looking all rough, rugged and raw. Also it's the only head that will accommodate the vintage helmets. |
