I just posted a video showing how I created my custom Gi Joe C-130. I widened it to allow the wolverine and other vehicles to fit inside. Also added a JOE look with paint and stickers. Thanks for watching.

Been following this build for a while. Glad to see it finished! I’ve often thought of widening some of my vehicles but you actually pulled it off and did a great job, I take my hat off to you sir!

Thanks Casca. I appreciate that. I’m glad it all came together in the end. I just don’t understand why they made the ramp so narrow?

Very nice! I watched the video earlier today. I have several ongoing custom projects that have been shelved for a while that I really should get back to. One idea I've been kicking around in the back of my brain is coming up with some type of 3D printed project to make mods like this easier - especially to add more realistic detail to the cockpit. But I think it might be conceivable to come up with some type of add-in printed parts to add some width to a number of these kinds of vehicles. So much potential.

I have one of these planes you used as a base. I love what you did with it.
Did you remove the side gun? That thing drove me crazy until I realized it is based on a real weapons platform:

Thanks for the kind words! I left the cannons on but painted them. The orange light up stuff is too much for me. I like my joe toys without sounds. That's a great video! Thanks for the info.
