What sucks is that the original prototype had a removable helmet and a full head of hair! I really wish I picked one up when I had the chance.

I didn't know his head was like that underneath the helmet. That's great! I'll have to do this myself.

Yeah, it's just like how Zartan is or even the vintage Zartan was. They still use that same style.

Helmet was not hard. Basically, I put the head in boiling water first to soften it and then I just peeled back making sure the tab in the helmet that plugs into his head comes out too. After removing helmet, I inverted it so I can cut the tab out smoothly and then flipped it back to the right side. Then I put the tab back into the head to fill the hole. There is glue residue on his head. I painted over it so he would look like his hair was ruffled a bit and not totally smooth like they did on the Cobra Troopers.

I think they mentioned something about the helmet not staying on. The released one is the same style they did for the vintage Zartan's hair/hood. It was really stupid though as the removable helmet one that I saw looked so much better.

Was just looking at someone's photo of him and thought he looked silly with no sideburns. The little things make all the difference. Good job.

Actually, to tell you the truth, when I originally removed his helmet, the object was to paint hair on the back of his head and to paint on sideburns and then glue the helmet back on. I never intended to make his helmet removable in the first place. After all the work removing his helmet, I thought it was a shame to glue it back on and since I had an extra Bludd head (from the desert set) then I said hell with it, since I don't have the DTC Bludd, I might as well see what I can do with this. Glad you guys like it.

Side views of Bludd. These pictures were before I put the Hawk holster on but they show the sideburns with and without the helmet.
