My first thought after getting the Bossfight Advent calendar was using the jacket & arms to finally make my Cover Girl, haven’t gotten legs or a torso for her yet so fantastic to see the idea put into action!
Really liking your Marion & Cover Girl builds for that style of look. Looks great in the short boots & holsters style or the clean legs & high boots. Awesome job putting these two together. Both are total badasses! I keep thinking about painting my Reboot series style Lara.....never even thought about the classic version with the new Boss Fight release! Great vision there! Loved the game growing up (same for the reboot series) and that’s a perfect build for her! Haha, spent many hours playing the original with the tension at full capacity because I ran out of ammo for the shotgun. Your custom is bringing back those memories. The zombie survivor is a terrific build! Could see her fitting in perfectly in any of the zombie movies I watched or Walking Dead. Really cool post apocalyptic survivor look to her.

Thanks a lot 46 Zone, I really appreciate that man. I probably saw that Tomb Raider recipe on Facebook somewhere and it just stuck with me. The low cleavage tank top drove this build I think.

It's funny because I could't decide between the high boots/clean legs option and the jean/holster look as they both look give out a badass vibe. I still cannot decide which one to keep so I'm adding both of them to my collection. I would probably change the head for Cover Girl and use one with reddish hair and of course touch the lower torso to match the skin tone. I'm glad the Lara Croft build brings those memories back haha. I always liked the original version and having those parts laying around didn't take me long before attempting this build. In retrospect I'm glad I took a shoot at it. Funny how one new figure release can unlock so many possibilities in customs. I cannot wait to see what they're releasing next as I'm really impressed with the quality of parts. Cheers bro. Last edited by paokole; 07-17-2021 at 10:17 PM.. |

They look gorgeous! When I receive my Zombie Survivor, I'll turn her into Cover Girl as well!

That's definitely the case that's why I got a couple to make good use of those parts. Cheers for stopping by! |

I had ton of fun putting these together as I'm taking a break from using Marauder's parts with the exception of Zartan's legs. I'm glad with how they came out.
Mad Max character Julius I've always wanted a non traditional version of Zartan in my collection. This one checks all the boxes in my book. Black Sabbath Zartan Sicario/Mercenary Torres |

Any ideas of 1:16 scale cars suitable for Mad Max theme customs would be very helpful! Cheers.

Bro, cheers for the kind words. Really appreciate it bro. Yeah both Mad Max and Sicario customs have BFS heads, Leonidas and Spartan respectively. I hope they have additional head releases with the upcoming Umbrella Academy figures which I'm so excited about. Check out the pictures they posted earlier today on their social media accounts. They'd have the pre-order available pretty soon. They look dope! I recall you mentioning that line recently and I bet you cannot wait for those releases.
I've been planning that Zartan for a while now. Granted I changed my mind a couple of times on the color scheme and I still want to use a BFS head that I still haven't painted. Still I'm quite happy with the way he came out. As always thanks for stopping by and commenting. |

Definitely fun to mix it up with parts so glad you had the opportunity.
Julius, Torres and Zartan all look badass! Really like the head & bandolier combo you used for Julius. Then are they the Zorro legs on Torres? Really cool look combined with the 86 vest, single glove and wrist gauntlet! Really cool look for Zartan, like the dual colored leg armor and their weathered look. I almost used BF parts as the base for my Toxic Zartan, probably use them for a toon accurate Zartan at some point since I’d like the brighter color scheme for him on my shelf. Great job on these!
