Your "New Era" customs are always great, but man I'm loving the updated takes on ARAH figures. For me that's my Joe. I was never a big fan of POC figures. I thought they were cool for what they were but my first love will always be ARAH and you captured Roadblock perfectly. I missed the original release in 84 so this was the Roadblock I had as a kid. Great job as always and keep the ARAH customs coming.

I generally consider it bad form to post your own work in someone's custom thread unless they ask you to. And while you didn't technically post pictures, I figure it's best to keep it 100. That being said, feel free to bump your own threads any time. For what it's worth, I think you do good work.

Another spectacular custom just landed!! Really digging this shade of grey you went with. The more I look at it the more clean yet badass it looks each time. Great work bro!

Excellent custom! I really like all the details you added like the fabric to the knife handle and to the leg straps.
I think that a custom like this should send a message to Hasbro that they already have the basic parts to create modern versions of classic figures, just add new accessories. Jason |

I’ll keep the ARAH going my brother. As always, thanks for the kind words homie. Quote:
Thank you my brother. I really enjoyed building this one. Actually kinda like the 4 inch size as it give me a little more canvas to paint on, so like you said, you can see the cleanliness of it Thanks for stopping by man. Quote:

Jason Shoot man, you and me both. I just know speaking to some , Hasbro can’t put out this level of quality without raising the price. I’m working on a way to get a line out. Because like you said, I feel like we all deserve some really badass Joes. And these ARAH builds are a major hit.

Another great take on one of the iconic Joe characters. As a kid Roadblock was the only figure I had two versions of (I used to use them as brothers), I preferred v2 as it had the better sculpt although v1 was more military looking.
As others have said it shows Hasbro what can be done with their parts for the Retro line, although you have also added your special enhancements to them. |

Another badass build! Sticking close to the original design, I can tell you had some fun with those accessories to do something new while also staying true to the original vision. Love the addition of the brass knuckles to the belt. Looks ready to tear through a battalion of BAT’s with those things! Always fun to see new kickass versions of Roadblock.
