Ooooh thanks for the tip! I kinda want Lady Jaye for the fact that she IS Lady Jaye though!
I was thinking of giving the figure a brown wash so the suit looks a little dirtier, is that what weathering means? ...or do you mean tiger stripes? YEAH! I'mma give him tiger stripes! xD

Hey TTTTTTTTTT! xD
Oh, weathering like he's been dragging himself through vegetation and stuff, like what we look like after coming home from a football match, lol. Ooooh that's a nifty Punisher, I could do without all the ribbing but it looks cool for that End of Days look. Another pic of this old fogey: |

Wow! That Red Star looks fantastic! Great job. I like using that technique myself. I think it was most effective on the Sci-Fi figure I made.

I swear you and Jin make this stuff look so easy... OK Breaking out the paints.. Getting ready to customize again....

For the backpack:
1]Wash/scrub it clean 2]Paint it all black 3]Drybrush the green 4]Paint the straps black again 5]Paint the little buttons and buckles with a tiny brush That's it! The suit is the same process: 1] Paint it black 2] Drybrush it gray 3] The water in your little cup is probably dark gray by now, use that to give the figure a few washes to blend the colors 4] Go back and paint the little details Seriously, not hard, I wish more people would customize! Do it! Do it! :P |

I swear, it is that easy! xD
The only paint problems you will most likely have are with the colors Flesh and Yellow because yellow is usually runny and flesh is usually hard to smooth-out. White might be a problem, but for me Testor's Flat White goes on as smooth as the black paints. Sanding the joints is the most annoying part I think, but once you understand where and why the parts rub, it'll be a lot easier to decide where you have to grind down the plastic. |

it's amazing how much improvement the drybrushing brings to these figures.

Lol, I got a fun idea for the End of Days contest and I can't post it or else it's disqualified, I was laughing so much at what I just made.
