Non G.I. Joe Dungeons & Dragons Toon Eric, the Cavalier

Here's my latest addition to the Dungeons & Dragons kids: Eric, the Cavalier

I had the plans for this one for months now, I just had to wait till I could get a second Hobgoblin figure, then I procrastinated on it for another month just getting the straps on the shield. Added some greenstuff to the gloves. The legs swapped easily enough, but I had to drop some glue into the joint connecting the upper legs and the knee as they were really loose.

Head: 25th Flash
Arms: MU Hobgoblin
Cape: MU Hobgoblin
Torso: MU Hobgoblin
Skirt: Star Wars Labria
Upper Legs: MU Hobgoblin
Lower Legs: 25th Tomax
Shield: from a medieval "Bits" knight
Shield Straps: MU Captain America

Man. I bet Gary Gygax wished he had that to do over again.

'That' being the cartoon; he chose to focus his energy on getting that off the ground and moved away from actually being involved with the D&D game.

Not his best decision.

Come on...you need to hit youtube and see if you can find the old D & D cartoon that was on Saturday mornings.

Okay, scratch that...use it for reference only. As with most things from my childhood it would probably be horrible now.

Man I loved that toon back then though.....
