Hit, oh yeah, the Roadblock type vest, I really dig that vest too, funny enough though never had that Marauder vest, better order one or two next time
Awesome Hit, lookin’ forward to them Shadows man! Thanks for the great comments dude, that vehicle behind them is an SAS Wolverine, a Palitoy version. That 25th Cobra troop, liked them but was never a fan of the tan straps, prefer the all black straps like the vintage had, really cool the retro have black straps again, pity the blue isn’t great though haha, guess we can never get everything from Hasbro lol. Yeah that Cobra trooper’s got no chance lol. Haha, yeah, Hasbro gives you just enough to be satisfied but never enough to be completely ecstatic over a release it seems. I have a bunch of 25th and 50th Cobra Troopers so I just do the different strap colors as squads. —————— That Robocop Skull Pilot is badass! Love that head / helmet and then the logos always look so cool on Marauder builds. Always loved that giant skull vehicle, do the vintage guy’s legs poke out the skull eyes to drive it too? Haha, love that pic, never saw anyone sticking out of it before. Midnight looks awesome in pics, need to get the goggles on mine. Didn’t have my hair dryer downstairs when I opened him so just never put them on. He turned out to be a really fun no paint release for them. Then the pics! Haha, no one has more pics of Red Shadows hitting the ground than you! Love their red door as well! My stickers can’t come soon enough. Want to get mine setup now. Then probably gonna need to order another red German because I want one with the chrome gunner helmet like you have too. Great stuff as always! Always enjoy seeing the outdoor shots, especially because you take full squads out there. Haha.

Thought it was shaped like the Wolverine but seemed too small to be it. Thanks for confirming, have to look up more of these Palitoy releases, always saw them in pics but never really went out of my way to look them up directly.

Yeah, gotta admit the AF SAS black Wolverine vehicle is a fine looking machine, had one also as a kid, there also was a green AF one couple of years later (when started merging with GI Joe lore), its a darker olive green than the GI Joe Wolverine and instead of Covergirl (a vintage figure I’ve never owned) it had a guy called Ton-Up, Rock ‘n’ Rolls twin brother (joke, but could be lol) :P apparently he was a different shade of green too? Also never had the green Wolverine as a kid either. You can read about it all here, its like an International Joe bible, well, vintage Action Force bible from ‘82 to ‘85. (‘87 onwards was basically GI Joe but didn’t change the Action Force name completely to GI Joe till ‘91 I think?) = SimpleViewer Gallery Glad u like the Roboskull dude and pics :P Yeah bud, that Midnight figures well cool, have no idea why they made the googles to small to fit around his head?!? Hair dyer, perfect. ;) Yeah, that’s what Red Shadows do best, is get shot and fall over haha, and yeah, hopefully you’ll get your RS decals soon enough, looking forward to your guys! Cheers man! Lee. Foxtrot Delta, many thanks dude, really appreciate that! ;) Last edited by LEEE777; 07-08-2021 at 06:59 AM.. |

Roboskull is probably one of my favorite builds of yours; badass and mean looking! All black masked commando of course seems to be stealing the show here...well almost 'cause the Reds are holding a pretty solid presence! Gotta say though the SAS Attack Troopers, both black & grey trooper are stealing the show! I'm loving those and will plan on replicating them as reinforcements to my Hasbro based SAS Attack Troopers. Fantastic work man! Last edited by paokole; 07-09-2021 at 11:22 AM.. |

I ordered these JoyToy figures awhile back on the sole purpose of using and customising them into a Black Op’s Shadow Squad for the Red Shadows, its the helmet that sold me straight away! Anyways, I did a bit of painting parts here and there, touching up etc , head swaps, some accessory swaps and some customed decals on top, hopes u like?
The Black Op’s team has heard there are some Special Forces Z-Force guys in the area who are Action Force’s Wheels and Steel Brigade, so in this jungle, looks like its gonna be lit up a bit! Last edited by LEEE777; 07-12-2021 at 08:26 AM.. |

That is one mean looking Black Op’s Shadow Squad! Yeah the helmets would be the selling point for me as well. I'll have to look them up but I'm guessing they're not available any more; but I wonder if we could just get the helmets and expand the squad using MTF troopers. So many ideas...
I have a few SAS reinforcements in the works and will make sure I post them soon. Love the outdoor pics dude, keep them coming! |

Lee. ) Didn’t have the Wolverine until a few years ago, got it for a great deal and it quickly became one of my favorites. Just need a Cover Girl to drive it! I was being so careful with the Eagle Force guys so didn’t even try Midnight’s goggles on. Got the rest on easily after heating them so need to find where I put his so I can finish his look. Yup, my decals came over the weekend and painting started so hopefully sometime next week I’ll have them ready for pics! Also got some Action Force ones so hope to use them for my extra Awe Striker & RAM. ———— Love your shadow squad! I have one of them to put with my Headhunters, just need to finish one other custom to get the squad together. Those guys work perfectly as Red Shadows, especially since they share a head with the Roboskull. Haha. And you are really trying to get me to bite on the new Marauder camo pattern. Haha. You keep using them to perfection! That final three man group of Shadows is epic! Definitely gonna be making a Kraken at some point. Just normal shadows up front for me but then I plan on some of their more interesting designs.
