Digging this Zartan. Thanks for sharing all the JoyToy goodness and it’s possibilities. You are right about the maniacal expression on his face. Nice job on the face paint. I also like the helmet.

The head and torso are from this guy. I did shorten his neck as the head sits a little high. The helmet and some of the armor came from this early JoyToy figure I bought used. I had planned on using that entire figure with just some face paint, but it was in rough shape when I received it.

Original Dreadnok: Motor Mouth
Motor Mouth was working a crew in Canada stealing big rigs and heavy equipment sometimes chopping them for parts. Other times they'd just hold them ransom to smaller outfits desperate to stay up and running. One "unfortunate accident" while incarcerated left him with nerve damage and looking for a new crew. His leg braces help his strength and balance, at the expense of slowing him down. He's most useful to the 'Noks for his driving ability and mechanical expertise. Motor Mouth isn't always talking, but when he has something to say, he is always shouting. It's not that he's constantly pissed. It's because he's near deaf. Working a chop shop and playing rock 'n roll insanely loud takes a toll. Motor Mouth has some Native/Inuit ancestry and heritage that he displays on his arms with traditional inspired tattoos. He'd probably be more popular among his fellow 'Noks if he'd learn to lower his voice. Motor Mouth's look and bio is inspired by Demolisher and Chop Shop; two that I'll never get around to making. I had to paint his teeth, mouth, and eyes as they were mostly flesh tone. Here's a close up with the other head that was in the running for this figure. Oddly the other one also needed mouth paint, at least that one had its eyes properly painted. Torso, arms, and vest (modded) are from a JoyToy figure from the Crossfire line I think. The legs and head are from an early Bounty Hunter figure. (Zarana wondering how Motor Mouth can be so impossibly loud all the time... How is it he doesn't lose his voice?)

Decided to paint Zartan closer to his Devil's Due look (not sure). I ended up changing his lower arms as well...
The Family Yes Zanya regrew her arm because I acquired a matching one... I also gave her a Crossfire vest as it looked more Drednok to me

Dig the use of the JoyToy figures to make your customs! The figures are much more 'Mad Max' than even the original Dreadnoks were, which is where Hasbro seemed to have gotten their inspiration from for them. Nice!

Thanks zpartikuz! loving your Dreadnoks by the way...
Thanks Shakka! I wasn't really noticing the Mad Max vibe until you pointed it out. Now I can't unsee it for a couple of them. Maybe aught to lean into that moving forward
