Among my first Classified customs you will find:
- overall simple upgrades and kitbashes. - use of parts that didn't cost a fortune or require 100 trips to a store. - minimal paint applications (NO painting across joints). - links to low-cost items that can help you make the same figures (or do your own thing). First, is '84 Roadblock: Last edited by ARBCO Avenue; 01-09-2021 at 01:29 PM.. |

That’s great. The cloth tank top works well and doesn’t seem out of place, which is hard to pull off.

Thanks! I could’ve painted the torso, and may do that at some point, but I wanted something reversible and easy to share with others. As a customizer I cut my teeth on easy kitbashes before I started painting whole figures. I’m trying to make it easy for those who want to get started on 6”. If a guy like you who is obviously capable of doing complex customs likes it too, then maybe I’m doing something right.

Hey thanks NH! It was interesting watching you sort out how to do your own RB. I know you changed him again but at one point you had the vest cut up over the bare chest and I thought “that just needs...” So thanks for some inspiration there. Soft goods aren’t for everyone but there is a long history with GI Joe 12” so why not 6?”

Solid updates. Did a great job of nullifying the more ridiculous elements of the factory designs

The figure looks really good. I'm usually not a fan of cloth work at this scale or lower (due to loss of scaled weight and drape, re: Star Wars Black Series ANH Luke and Leia), but your use is tight and minimal and really effective. Reminds me of the quality of the 3 Mezco 1:12 figures I got.
The real thing i wanted to ask about is the cool dual tone lighting for the initial photos. It's something I've been wanting to do for my T13 figure single shots since those figures lack color. So how did you it? Hopefully cheaply...
