Awesome idea!
And yes, it does need LEDs to make it even cooler. DIY tutorials on Youtube don't look that complicated, using them is one of my customizing goals for 2021. |

That's just awesome. So jealous of the resin printers.
I think LED lighting would be worth it in this case to really make the holographic map pop. Let me know if you decide to wire it up and need any guidance. You can power a couple LEDs with a small stack of button batteries and control on/off with a switch pretty cheaply. |

Thank you!
All of the models except the table itself came from Thingiverse. I can upload the surface projection there since it was made from all free models. The table itself I cannot share since I used a paid model as the base. I'll add a link once I have it uploaded. EDIT: Here's the link for the surface. Credit goes to the original model authors listed on the page: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4718152 Last edited by Cryoguns; 01-10-2021 at 07:06 PM.. |

https://www.myminifactory.com/object...c-table-100133 I scaled up, cut and stretched it to the dimensions I wanted, then cut out the center part and used a combination of these two free models to form the inner tech parts: I used half of this model for the inner workings: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4064755 And there's a circular part with wires/cables for the center in this set named "Side_A_V2" that I used for the center: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3744307 |

Cool. So the base looks FMD printed. Is the holo part SLA printed?
