I recently finished my first Gi Joe movie and uploaded it to youtube. I thought this might be a good place to share it? Diorama...sort of?

This was all inspired by the videos the Gi Joburg guys make. It was a lot of work to make but really fun. I loved that it was a way to play with the toys with my kids and at the same time capture that "play".

Outstanding work! The story was great and I loved all the voices/sound effects. Also your addition of the music being perfectly placed felt like I was watching a vintage episode from when I was a kid.

You just gave something much better than an entertaining video, you gave me 15 minutes of my childhood back. Freaking awesome!

I really enjoyed this. I like how you switched scales and changed Snake Eyes figures. I bought that torn clothes snakes for that same reason. Great work all around.

Thanks! I bought that snake off ebay just for this purpose. It's a pretty cool figure.

Thank you. That was always a big part of playing with Joes as a kid. I remember my one friend figuring out how to make a really cool machine gun sound and we all learned to emulate it.

Wow that's great to hear and thank you. Making this and "playing" with all the toys really brought back those fun memories as well. So glad you enjoyed it.

Ha, that was great! If you don’t mind, I’d like to share it with my 4th/5th grade students. Gives them extra motivation for writing and another outlet for publishing their stories.

Side note: The trooper who talked the Viper’s (or other way around?) ear off about his SW theories was hilarious!

Thanks and of course share it. Tell your students that my three kids all helped in the production and one of them is in 4th grade. He was most proud of the accents he put on the slipstream and spirit voices at the beginning.

I'm glad you found that funny. If you've ever seen the movie Clerks I was trying to channel Kevin Smith with that stuff. A little homage to his work.
