I was waiting for Retro RB's hands to complete this custom:
Recipe: TF RB: Head, torso, thighs, knees. 25th RB: Webgear Retro RB: Hands, gun, ammo strip, stand. 50th Outback: Lower legs and feet. ROC Heavy Duty: Back pack Unknown fodder: 2nd belt I was totally surprised that the green on the Retro hands almost matches the green from the TF RB Torso. It's close enough IMO. I added a little light green camo. Thanks to Hisshissfangfang for the recipe!!! He showed that the build of these legs just kick ass!!! What could have been if Hasbro spent time on the Retro line:

Outstanding man! I’d like to have this Ver. In my collection.
The 2nd belt looks like a cutofff from 25th Mindbender?

He looks incredible! Really hoping Walmart has an easier time with the wave 2 preorders than they did wave 1 so I can work on something similar.
Absolutely love the grilling pic! Looks great with the card & bubble too, might have actually tried for an extra to keep carded if he looked like that!

If Hasbro released this, I definitely would be on the hunt for it.

Looks sharp, especially on card. I've been waiting for years for someone else to validate my lower leg swap, thanks. Also the double belt seems like an easy alternative to what I'm still trying to fix, since new longer webgear was overbudget I guess (but not a whole new molded head). Last thing I suggest is the bigger but thinner backpack that came with ROC Heavy Duty or 30th/POC iron grenadier.
Looks like you didn't even need the new figure for anything but the cardback, as you could have easily repainted the TF RB hands... |
