Close up by Magnus-L, on Flickr
Crew maintenance by Magnus-L, on Flickr "The Brawler Heavy Tank Destroyer brings overwhelming firepower to the fight, designed to take on and defeat all known armored vehicles head-to-head. Its pair of forward firing 125 mm cannons can be either fired at the same time or one right after the other. It carries these mounted high, in order to depress them when firing from a hull down position. To mitigate its inevitable vulnerability to the sides and rear, the Brawler carries a 40mm autocannon in a remote turret, which can rotate 360 degrees and elevate to high angles to engage enemies on high ground and roofs. This weaponry is complemented by three heavy machine guns, two firing forward and the third mounted coaxially on the turret, as well as 16 smoke grenade launchers to help cloak its movements. This arsenal collectively is comparable to two conventional Main Battle Tanks, making the Brawler the best armed direct fire armored fighting vehicle in the Joe motor pool. When used properly, the Brawler is almost unstoppable in battle. Yet for all its impressive enhancements, the Brawler still suffers fundamentally compared to a conventional tank in its inability to traverse its main weapons. The firepower in its turret is potent, but not powerful enough to defeat true heavy armor. With this in mind, the Brawler is ideally deployed with other armored elements covering its flanks. The Brawler has a crew of three. The driver and commander operate the forward firing weapons and sit side by side in the hull, and the turret gunner sits deep inside the hull, beneath the turret. In addition to dealing out vicious punishment to any hapless target in front of it, the Brawler is heavily armored, with reactive armor adding protection in the frontal arc. The Brawler's most important advantage is the firepower it carries in its twin 125mm main guns. It can fire both at the same time to increase the likelihood of destroying a target at once, or it can fire one gun, adjust aim and follow up with a second corrected shot without needing time to reload. Alternatively, it can carry two different kinds of ammunition, one in each gun, ready to fire whichever it needs at a moment's notice. The main guns share the same rear-mounted autoloader. The Brawler carries its powerpack in front, which serves to add to the protection for its crew. But with the main guns and turret in the rear, the Brawler is unbalanced and has a rearward leaning attitude." |

Great work! I like the original Brawler too. If it used a similar color scheme to what you used for your lego build I think it would be a much more popular vehicle.
