This one was a special one. Extreme amounts of customizing.
I started with the head , all hand painted . Clay molded hair in certain spots. I then had the premise of a base body which you saw in my thread. I was very careful to bring Budo current but not take him to far into the future (which is very easy to do with ninja and samurai) but also pay tribute to his heritage. Real cloth sash, real wrapped forearm wraps, real lanyards on his swords.... Which I choice the tactical wakazashi and katana as a modern day warfighter sword . Tanto tip. I also envisioned him as left handed as the swords are on the right side as well as his sidearm. I hope you enjoy:

Very impressive and unique take, and yet still captures the spirit of the character. Bravo!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!!!!!
So many good things about this guy. I don’t know why but my favorite is the lanyards and details to the swords. I haven’t seen anyone do that before and it adds a realistic element.

I'm on the same boat that KR is on: Detail! Detail! Detail! You're attention to detail brings out the best in all your customs. You can see you treat customizing as a true artistic ability and it shows. Love the sculpted hair, the aged looked, the battle damaged face, the yet still very recognizable ARAH feel, and the fact that you've put so much thought into him and made him left handed, I'm a lefty as well. Well done my brother!

Just a few examples/ Those should pads? Off a cold weather destro Jacket, cut , measured, cleaned, sanded, primed, painted and detailed. (In that order) The lanyards on the wakazashi swords and the forearm wraps ,is micro braided cord that was unbraided with a toothpick to keep all fibers in tact(arm wraps got adhesive sprayed for sealant and durability. So again, very much appreciate your and all compliments seeing how much goes into these customs. Thanks Yeet! He does share that rugged look doesn’t he?
