Vypra & your Motor Viper (thanks for the shout out!) look fantastic! That was a really great idea for her, never thought about that camo pattern for Vypra even though I?ve been thinking about making her more and more recently. Then it matches up perfectly with your Motor Viper! Like the scaled down look of Vypra paired with the bulkiness of the Motor Viper.

Puppet Master, Munitia, Evy, Zartan & Heartwrencher are all awesome! Super creative on the builds and I love the details on Heartwrencher!

Then those troop builders! Navy crew, Crimson guard, heat, laser & WORMS! Just epic! Love all of the bright colors and paint accents, super fun group of cobras that you have there!

Sorry for replying to this almost a year late! This is some great praise, so thank you so much.

Moved down to DC just before you posted this and customizing fell off my radar while surviving rent payments and life stuff took precedence. I have some customs that I finished and photographed the night before I left, and I may still upload those soonish, but the pictures were taken in a rush with bad lighting.

I do have a couple other things I'm definitely going to share though, so anyone interested, feel free to stay tuned.

Here's what I mentioned yesterday: my HISS fleet. One thing that may not show up well due to me taking these out in the grass last summer is that I took some of the MTF exo-suit machineguns and attached them to the chins of the standard HISSes to give them a little more oomph.





A closer look at my Tread-Vipers (Hiss Drivers) and their commander, Rip-It:





Part of me wishes I'd gotten a chance to get some of the retro Hiss Driver heads for these, but eh, neither headsculpt is perfect.

Finally, I have one of the DTC HISSes that will ostensibly (it's not really sized well enough to be functional) serve as an IFV/troop-carrier. Did some graffiti on it because I like the idea of my Cobras painting/marking up their vehicles and giving them character.









The heat-seeker lines on the lower missiles are borrowed from Transformers, btw

The armored canopy for the cockpit looks great. I love the combined forces of the more standard HISS with an IFV version. Very cool.

I've got more stuff to show now!

First up are a couple Joes I did last year; after many painstaking coats to get them looking perfect, I horribly messed them up with some clear coat spray paint that left a frosted look over them (and a handful of other figures I haven't shown off but did at the same time). Recently I found a trick with some olive oil to bring the original color back a bit; not perfect, but worth showing now.

Here's Beachhead - one of my favorite Joes:





I do hope Marauders eventually starts putting out more weapons; that Hasbro gun he has (I believe it's some type of HK AR-pattern rifle) doesn't sit so well in his hands, but there's not currently anything that reminds me enough of his various smgs to replace it with.

Next, Sci-Fi - another of my favorite Joes, and the one I was most torn-up about after that bright green ended up dull and frosted-over:





Besides them, I have a few Cobras I worked on before leaving DC last month.
A Tele-Viper (which I think I chose to do after seeing Rob's, tho the formula I had was a bit different), a Viper Officer (because it didn't require many new parts), and Admiral George "Kerilia" Latimer (same reason; also, borrowed that name from Hit & Run, and decided that my Cobra high general and air marshal will have similar Latin snake names).

Painting is wonderful. The Sci-Fi and V1 Cobra Commander are especially cool.

Thanks man! Sci-Fi being a near head-to-toe repaint is one I'm especially proud of.

And yep, him being one of my firsts and another near full repaint is one of the reasons I love finding new ways to work in CC while displaying other figures.
