Vehicles GC’s Custom Vehicles Thread

Here’s a WIP. I could use some help with parts for this one!
If anyone can help, please hit me up. With no local shows the past year, obtaining parts has been difficult. I’m also currently exploring 3D printing options as I’ll be purchasing a printer soon.

This is intended to kind of be an homage to the unreleased version/repaint of the WHALE.
I love this vehicle and I’ve always wanted another version of the original.
I’m going with a 2-Tone Grey (Light & Dark) along with dark black for the accessories.
Let me know what you think of this so far!

I have no idea on parts, but I like where you are going with it. Not sure why I’ve never seen this before. What was the unreleased version of the Whale supposed to be? I’m unfamiliar.

There was a planned line in 93 I think.
Whale & Battle Platform repaints were included.

It would of been part of the 1995 Battle Rangers line. It was a supposed to be a redirection of ARAH back to a more military theme.

https://www.3djoes.com/unproduced.html - if you scroll down a little bit you will see some of the prototype stuff. It's probably the biggest disappointment that Joe did not at least go one more year to get the Battle Rangers line out.

The Whale GC is doing is a great homage to the cancelled 1995 version.

Very cool GC. I did have some parts for this but I think I sold them recently. Let me double check to be sure.

Cool! Looks like it could double for Wolf Squad as well, but now I understand about the cancelled repaint, thanks to you guys.

Thanks for sharing those references. That is too bad about the Battle Rangers.
